Kris Schmidt is a visual artist from Adrian, Michigan. Working primarily in oils, she is currently inspired by Midwestern landscapes. Her desire is to capture the land, the sky, the ditches, the hills, the wild paths in every season, every mood. Storms, her current passion, produce electricity and for Schmidt, paintings. She has studied under landscape artists Michael Workman and Nancy Bush.
