About the Artist: Ryan Thompson

Originally from Sandusky, Glass Artist Ryan Thompson had his start at Bowling Green State University, graduating with a degree in glass. Thompson was awarded the 2014 NICHE Award for functional glass at the end of his study at BGSU.

He has worked for many local glass businesses such as Firenation Glass Studio and Gallery, the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion, and Gathered Glassblowing. He continues to live and work in Toledo, Ohio.
